John Sherrod is a native of Marietta, Georgia. He graduated cum laude from The University of Georgia in 1984 and the top of his class from The Walter F. George School of Law of Mercer University in 1987. He is a founding partner in our firm and has a long history of successful settlements and trial verdicts with serious injury and wrongful death cases. He has also served as lead counsel in thousands of worker's compensation cases representing the injured worker.

John Sherrod began his practice with an insurance defense firm where he gained invaluable experience and insight into the manner in which large corporations and insurance companies defend serious personal injury suits and worker's compensation cases. He left the defense bar in 1990 and since that time has limited his civil practice solely to the representation of individuals with claims against corporations, insurance companies and employers.

John is a speaker at trial lawyers' functions, and is a member of numerous professional organizations including The Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Civil Justice PAC, the Douglas County Bar Association, and the Southern Trial Lawyers Association.
